Dining Room Attendants

The Manor, the premier Continuing Care Retirement Community in Florence, SC, is seeking to add Dining Room Attendants to our staff.  The Dining Room Attendant creates a dining environment that displays courtesy, respect, and consideration for residents and employees.  Performs all duties in a manner that is responsive to the needs of residents and employees.  Promotes operating efficiency and ensures compliance with the facility operating policies as well as federal, state, and local governing bodies.  Must follow written, verbal, and visual instructions.

ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS

This job includes lifting, pushing, and pulling food carts and bending and reaching.  Use the following guidelines to eliminate or reduce ergonomic risk:

1. Use proper body mechanics when lifting.
2. Make sure that wheels turn freely on any rolling transport.
3. When possible, push, never pull.
4. Avoid twisting and turning.
5. Wear shoes with good support and with slip-resistant soles
6. Lift 10lbs-20lbs repetitively
7. Squatting
8. Lifting above your head
9. Standing on feet

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.
