We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working Pit Master who takes pride in great food and consistency. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring early mornings, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. If you enjoy working with your hands, mastering your craft, and being part of a disciplined kitchen team, this could be a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and manage grill/pit operations to ensure high-quality food
  • Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area
  • Support overall kitchen operations during high-volume periods
  • Follow established processes while continuously improving efficiency

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of grill or pit experience
  • At least 2 years of food service experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to start at 4:00 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during training
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to multitask
  • Food safety mindset

Certifications

  • ServSafe certification required (or ability to obtain within 3-5 months of hire)

Training & Growth

  • Structured 8-month training program
  • Performance evaluations every 30 days
  • Pay increases every 2 months during training
